Prof. (Mrs.) Folusho Morenike David–Abraham

Prof. (Mrs.) Folusho Morenike David–Abraham was born to the family of Late Bishop and Mrs. Phillip Dare Adekunle from Oka-Akoko in Ondo State.

She started her primary School career in Ibadan and concluded it in Ebenezer African church Primary School Ikare-Akoko. She had a double promotion from Primary one to three because of her brilliance. She attended African church Comprehensive high School Ikere– Ekiti From 1971-1976. She has a B.Sc in Food Science and
Brewing from Anambra State University of Science and Technology Awka, a Masters degree in Food Technology from University of Ibadan and PhD in Food Science and Technology from Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Enugu . She started her career as a lecturer in 1986 at Federal Polythecnic,
Kaura-Namoda. She later joined Ebonyi State University Abakaliki in 1990 as Lecturer II and rose to the rank of a Professor of Food Science and Technology with specialty in Nutrition and Processing. She has many international and local publications to her credit. She is a Fellow of Institute of Human and Natural Resources Management, a Member of Institute of Food Science and Technology and American Society of Microbiology and has attended many conferences in and outside Nigeria. Prof. (Mrs.) F.M. David–Abraham has served in various administrative positions. She was the Head of Department of Food Science and Technology Department of Enugu State University of Science and Technology and later Ebonyi State University. She served as Dean of Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources Management of Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki for five years. In her capacity as the Dean she was elected the President of Association of Deans of Agriculture in Nigeria Universities (ADAN). The position she held for three years. She is currently the Chair of Board of Trustees ADAN.
She initiated so many projects as a Dean with a view of making her Faculty to be relevant in the Agricultural Transformation Agenda of Nigeria. Through her able leadership as ADAN President, she attracted a Federal Government project of establishment of Incubation Centres in Faculties of Agriculture in Nigeria Universities. She was a member of Agriculture Research Council of Nigeria. She was a Senate Representative in the Governing Council of Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki. She was a Treasurer of Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), EBSU Branch for three years and the immediate pas  Chairman of ASUU-EBSU Cooperatives. She is a leader of some Christian groups and currently a Pasto  in Full Gospel Charismatic Ministries. She is married to Pastor Dr. David Onyeze Abraham and blessed with five children and three grandchildren.

it is a non-stock, non-profit organization with Deans of different Universities as members, As an association, it envisioned itself as innovative, competent and empowered in leading institutions achieve excellence in agriculture education for national and global development.

The Association is made up of those Universities in Nigeria that offer a degree course in agriculture or related agricultural areas. In Nigeria there are currently thirteen such Universities, spread across every State and located in both metropolitan and rural locations.
