What We Do

ADAN meets twice yearly, with additional meetings as required. There is regular interaction by internet.

Its charter is to promote the cause of agriculture and encourage prospective students into a career in this area. The Association is the peak body and represents issues of common interest as it affects agricultural activities in universities and cooperates on projects of mutual benefit. It links and works with relevant government agencies and industry organizations to improve the performance and sustainability of Nigerian agriculture and to raise the overall education level of the sector.

We are finding answers to national and global issues of SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE, FOOD, HEALTH and ENVIRONMENT.

it is a non-stock, non-profit organization with Deans of different Universities as members, As an association, it envisioned itself as innovative, competent and empowered in leading institutions achieve excellence in agriculture education for national and global development.

The Association is made up of those Universities in Nigeria that offer a degree course in agriculture or related agricultural areas. In Nigeria there are currently thirteen such Universities, spread across every State and located in both metropolitan and rural locations.
